Teen Leadership Program

Program Overview

The Care Fresno Teen Leadership Program is purposed to increase young, indigenous leaders within high-crime neighborhoods. This program is targeted at helping at-risk teens avoid the high drop out rates associated with these under-resourced communities. In addition, we hope to train these teens in character-building exercises, life-skills development and leadership principles, helping to create indigenous leaders who will influence younger generations through mentoring, tutoring and service projects. Our hope is for this program to be cyclical. The teens are mentored to become leaders to younger generations who will one day join our teen program and do the same!
