A Letter From the Director

Awhile back I stumbled upon this photo. It says "Prepare for the Unexpected". While it doesn't appear to have worked out for this driver in the picture, I am still amazed at the unexpected opportunities God continues to bring our way. This year we are preparing for all His unexpected plans. In just one and a half months we have relocated to new offices in the heart of Southeast Fresno and they are more then we could have ever dreamed of. We have placed 3 new Missionaries in Care Fresno neighborhoods and will likely be adding 5 more by the end of 2013-14. We expect to have doubled to 10 sites in high crime neighborhoods by the end of 2014 and to be serving nearly 500 youth daily.

Also, we will soon be hiring a full-time Missions Pastor to help us with our new 'Local Missions' campaign. This person will help train 5-6 churches per year to plant local missionaries and send out their congregations to Fresno's neediest areas to support these local missionaries. We expect to train nearly 200 people per year to adopt a "Local Missions" site and serve at-risk communities.

Lastly, some of our former leaders-in-training have moved forward to develop amazing new ministries that are serving Care Fresno communities.

I hope you will take a moment to read about all that is going on! I thank you for your prayers and support!
