MISSION CAREUrban Residency Program
Young leaders who commit to Mission Care come to mature in their faith as they learn to live their lives fully devoted to the Kingdom of God! Participants move into diverse, low-income neighborhoods, loving their neighbors through wholistic ministries such as after-school tutoring, sports, mentoring, Bible studies and more. |
CARE CLUBAfter-School Programs
We believe that if we can begin working with kids at a young age, we have the most opportunity to make a life long impact. We work specifically with youth grades 1st through 6th. These programs meet either in Care Fresno staff apartments, apartment complex community rooms or other spaces donated by churches. Our after-school programs incorporate healthy snacks, tutoring, arts & crafts, sports and other enrichment activities. |
summer programSummer Programs
Care Free Summer allows Care Fresno to continue reaching youth and families all year long. This program is composed of sports, arts, crafts, service learning, music, field trips, water days, and LOTS OF FUN! Our Mission Care Residents run the Care Free Summer programs at the sites they live at. |
CARE CAMPCare Fresno's Summer Camp
Care Camp is our annual 100% volunteer-led, donor-supported camp experience for 100 youth at practically no cost to our students. Care Fresno's team of 30 to 40 Mission Care residents and volunteers cook dinners, write and perform their own skits, messages, and music while leading arts and crafts, hikes, team games and other engaging activities. Care Camp is a one-week camp experience at Calvin Crest just above Oakhurst in the natural beauty of the Sierra National Forest. |
