Those who are residents at the site are expected to dedicate 10 hours at minimum a week to program participating and assisting in ASP and Bible Study. Those who are commuters are expected to dedicate 6 hours a week at minimum to their dedicated site. For more information check out our Mission Care Apprentice Description below.
TRAININGS
Mission Care Monday's allow all mentors, site leads, apprentices and staff members, meet weekly to learn more about the program, the Bible, and how to be a leader in our community. These are mandatory trainings that take place a few times a month with incredible information to help a leader grow while learning how to engage and interact with children and families in the organization. This is all a group effort that is lead by leaders who have been apart of this organization for a number of years and are ready to help you grow and become a leader in the community.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"
Philippians 4:6-7 |
"I joined Mission Care anticipating I would be serving children and share the word with them. However, I have received so much more than I expected. The love and happiness the kids are filled with that charges your heart. Plus, an extremely supportive team who help you to grow in your faith. "

Mission Care is designed not only to provide opportunities to serve at-risk youth and families but also to provide a challenging program that will help young potential leaders, like yourself, grow in their faith and leadership. Our past leaders have consistently shared that this experience has changed their perception of the world and their faith for the better.
It has been said, “Out of difficulties grow miracles.” Make no mistake, this program is challenging and requires commitment. We are what we are committed to. It is important that you read over carefully what the commitments of this program are, as these commitments are the most important thing about this program.
